A status meeting is a working-level check on open items, shipments, and current problems, held weekly or monthly. A QBR looks ahead at where the customer’s business is going and includes someone with budget authority on both sides. When a QBR gets staffed with only working-level attendees, it becomes a long status meeting and nothing gets decided.
