A channel marketing program is the set of tools, plans, and routines a manufacturer gives its distributors and reps so they can sell its products. It usually includes partner tiers, a short kit of ready-to-use sales and marketing assets, joint planning with the most important partners, co-op or market development funds, one owner at the manufacturer, and a scorecard of partner activity.
