Step 1

This is the easy part. All we need from you is a “Warm Introduction”.

Step 2

We’ll start a conversation with your friend, learn a little bit about their business and share a little bit about ours.

If we both think we can help them grow their business then we’ll work with them to put together and present a draft Growth Plan.

If they like it, we’ll make it happen. If they don’t, they keep the plan – no hard feelings.

Step 3

Now the fun part. 30-45 days after the plan is approved and we start work, we’ll cut you a check.

If you don’t want a check, we’ll make a donation to your favorite charity…or one of ours. It’s up to you.

Can you define Vx Group in one sentence?
The Vx Group is a business growth accelerator built for companies that require high-lifetime-value customers to grow.

What is your ‘why’?
To positively impact the lives of business owners and leaders by unlocking their full growth potential. We only work with leaders who share our belief that growth is good and want to scale their businesses.

How would you grow my business?
It depends on your specific situation but everything we do falls into one of the four dimensions of growth.

What types of companies do you work with?
Most of our customers are mid-market, niche B2B companies. We have customers all over the U.S. and the globe (about 20 clients currently) across manufacturing, software, service, and healthcare.

How much time will I need to dedicate to working with you?
Frankly, you can pick your level of involvement. We can work pretty autonomously and have checkpoints and to ensure we’re on track. Many of our clients consider us an extension of their team and call us for anything they need.

What kinds of problems can you solve for me?
Flat-lined growth. Declining revenue. You’re wrapped up in sales when it’s not your strength. A customer concentration risk (all eggs in one basket). Lost your largest customer. Lack of sales leadership. Lost faith in your sales team. A new product that isn’t selling. No plan for finding new customers.

What is a specific example of something you do?
We have a program called ActiveProspect that is fully-managed end-to-end prospecting and outreach. It’s a dedicated, laser-focused outbound sales resource who puts in all the work to find, engage and qualify new ideal customers. All you have to do is show up and close the business.

Who are your main competitors?
Our primary competition is inaction. Second are large internal teams that have several layers to decision making.

How would you work with my sales team?
We can run alongside your existing team, integrate as an embedded resource, or replace the need for an internal sales team.

Are you a business coach?
No. But the work we do is designed to free-up leaders from the burdens that come with leadership.

Are you a marketing agency?
No. We provide sales and business leadership you would never get from typical marketing or advertising agencies. Most of what a marketing firm does are basic elements of our growth programs.

Why don’t you like the word ‘consultant’?
Most consultants don’t do the work; they tell you what needs to be done, grab their check and run. Our team consists of hands-on business leaders who build a plan, roll up their sleeves, and get $#&! done.

How can I get to know you better?

How much do you cost?
Our growth programs are about the cost of a decent B2B sales person.

How long does it take?
Our Growth Accelerator engagements span a year. We have a 4-month engagement model as well. We have several customers we’ve been working with over 3 years.

What are some specific outcomes you can share?
We doubled quarterly revenue for a high-performance CAD/CAM computer business. They had flatlined at $1.5M by selling mostly one-off computers. We found and won three new customers in the engineering/architecture space worth over $1M in lifetime value.
