A high-performing Growth Plan Manager is the guide for clients throughout their engagement with the Vx Group, ensuring above all else, that we’re attaining the measurable results we promised. As the client’s main contact, I ensure they feel seen, heard, and validated while also providing support for the internal Vx team to effectively complete their work.

My role is integral in showing the client how valuable our work is, how our tactical efforts are bringing about change, and helping achieve the larger goal we’re accomplishing together. I bring energy and excitement to the relationship, highlighting wins but also addressing any realignment that may be necessary. I ensure my clients know what phase of their growth plan we are executing currently, and what they should expect to come next. I am the storyteller that brings their plan to life.

Internally, I am closely connected to every member of the Vx team, ensuring everybody has the necessary information to perform their roles unhindered. Communication and detail management are my strongest assets.

Detailed Description of What I Do

  • Reverse engineer Growth Plans with a clear understanding of how each deliverable relates to the Growth Goals, WIGs, and We Wills of the plan
  • Consistently gather updates for current work and look ahead to upcoming deliverables to inform both internal team members as well as clients
  • Maintain regular contact and checkpoints with clients in a format that best suits the client’s needs
  • Respond promptly to client communications
  • Work with the Vx team to ensure the overall success of the program, not just the completion of tasks
  • Ask thoughtful business questions to uncover the core problems or opportunities
  • Plan and lead highly productive meetings. This includes producing and sharing agendas, recapping discussion points, updating deliverables based on meeting outcomes, and coordinating any subsequent action items or meetings.
  • Organize details in a way that is easily digestible and transferrable
  • Work with Vx expert resources to resolve cross-account bottlenecks and deadline conflicts, while carefully considering the resources actually needed to accomplish our goals.
  • Gain foresight into longer-term initiatives and manage overlapping project timelines.
